UnauthorizedAccessException writing to the registry

At least one person has reported that when the agent tries to create its registry key, it gets an UnauthorizedAccessException and dies. This prevents SMTP from working.
This problem occurred on Windows 2008 because writing to HKLM now requires elevated privileges. This is fixed in, which no longer automatically creates the registry value for you - you have to do it manually now.
